DFO advises that the Atlantic Halibut fishery in NAFO Division 4R, for vessel class A761 (Magdalen Islands) will close on August 26, 2022 at 1600 hrs (ADT).

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2022-201 has been revoked and Variation Order 2022-203 comes into effect at 1630 hours on August 27, 2022.

DFO advises that the Unit 2 Redfish fishery will close to the <65' mobile gear fleet based in 4R3Pn, Vessel Classes C405, C406, C422, C437,and C440, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2000 hrs. The quota for this fleet is expected to be taken by closing time.
