Salmon Rivers Re-opening in Salmon Fishing Area 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11

DFO advises anglers that the following rivers will re-open to normal angling hours as of one hour before sunrise on September 3, 2025.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Orders 2025-222, 2025-223, 2025-224, 2025-225 and 2025-226 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2025-230, 2025-231, 2025-232, 2025-233 and 2025-234 come into effect at 1800 hours on September 2, 2025.
