Salmon Rivers Re-opening in Salmon Fishing Areas 4 and 13
DFO advises anglers that the following rivers will re-open to normal angling hours as of one hour before sunrise on July 30, 2025.
Salmon Fishing Area 4
35.*Burlington River
36. Indian River, Hall’s Bay, including Burnt Berry Brook below falls, Davis Brook and Black Brook
39. Tommy’s Arm River and tributary streams
46. Exploits River
-Tributaries below Grand Falls fishway
-Tributaries of mid-Exploits from Grand Falls fishway to Red Indian Lake dam

152. Goose Arm River

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that 2025-156, 2025-157, 2025-158, 2025-159 and 2025-160 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2025-162, 2025-163, 2025-164, 2025-165 and 2025-166 come into effect at 1800 hours on July 29, 2025.
