Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Closing In Bonavista Bay
DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear will close on July 16, 2025 at 2200 hours in Bonavista Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 5).
"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at Newfoundland and Labrador Region
