Salmon Rivers Re-opening in Salmon Fishing Areas 13 and 14A
DFO advises anglers that the following rivers will re-open to normal angling hours as of one hour before sunrise on August 24, 2024.
Salmon Fishing Area 13
150. Upper Humber River & tributary streams, (not including Adies Lake)
Salmon Fishing Area 14
154. *Lomond Main River, (East Arm, Bonne Bay) including East Branch (not including the section of Lomond and East Branch inside Gros Morne National Park)
162. Torrent River & tributary streams

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that 2024-220, 2024-221, 2024-222, 2024-223, and 2024-224 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2024-225, 2024-226,2024-227, 2024-228 and 2024-229 come into effect on August 23, 2024.
