DFO advises of the following closing dates for the following Lobster Fishing Areas:

- LFA 11 East (East of Western Head, Hare Bay): June 23, 2024.

- LFA 11 West (West of Western Head, Hare Bay): June 30, 2024.

- LFA 10 (Placentia Bay): Friday, July 12, 2024.

Note all closing times are 2000 hours.

Fish harvesters are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time.

Harvesters are reminded to submit their completed Lobster logbooks as required.

“Notices to Fish Harvesters” for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at Newfoundland and Labrador Region
