DFO advises that the Snow crab fishery has been extended for all Crab Fishing Areas (CFAs) in NAFO sub-Division 3Ps (10A, 10B, 11S, 11W and 11E). The fishery in this area will now close at 2000 hours on July 28, 2023.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2023-134 has been revoked and Variation Order 2023-146 comes into effect on July 19, 2023.

"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at Newfoundland and Labrador Region
