HERRING FIXED GEAR FISHERY OPENING in 3Ps
DFO advises that the Herring fixed gear fishery will open 0600 hours April 1, 2023 for all fixed gear (Barr seines, gillnets and trap nets) in Herring Fishing Areas 10 and 11.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2023-015 has been revoked and Variation Order 2023-019 comes into effect on April 1, 2023.
"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at Newfoundland and Labrador Region
