Greenland Halibut (Turbot) Fishery Closing in NAFO Divisions 2+3K for less than 65 ft Fixed Gear Fleet
DFO advises that the fixed gear Greenland Halibut (Turbot) Fishery in NAFO Divisions 2+3K will close for all vessels less than 65 ft at 1800 hours on October 12, 2022.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2022-212 has been revoked and Variation Order 2022-223 comes into effect on October 12, 2022.
"Notices to Fish Harvesters" for all commercial fisheries are now available online under the Fishery Notices link on the DFO NL Region webpage at Newfoundland and Labrador Region
