Lumpfish Fishery Opening in a portion of NAFO Division 3L
DFO wishes to advise harvesters of the following 3L Lumpfish area opening and closing dates:
- Conception Bay: May 22, 2022 - July 10, 2022
Note all opening times are 0600 hours, and closing times are 2000 hours.
Fishing for Lumpfish is authorized in water depths less than 25 fathoms.
Harvesters are reminded that licence conditions are available through the National Online Licencing System (NOLS).
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2022-059 has been revoked and Variation Order 2022-061 comes into effect on May 19, 2022.
