NOTICE TO FISH HARVESTERS
2016 Fixed Gear less than 65 foot Vessel Turbot Fishery Re-Opening in NAFO Divisions 3LMNO
DFO advises that a restricted fixed gear Greenland Halibut fishery in NAFO Divisions 3LMNO will re-open for a limited number of less than 65 feet vessels on August 27, 2016 at 0600 hours and will close on September 16, 2016 at 2000 hours.
Fish Harvesters are required to hail-out to an At Sea Observer Company 24 hours prior to leaving port.
Licences conditions will be available through DFO’s National On-line Licencing System, for those fish harvesters who were contacted by the Department.
Licence conditions valid for August 27 to September 16, 2016 must be on board prior to fishing.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2016-186 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-207 comes into effect on August 26, 2016.
