Lobster Fishing Area 4A Notre Dame Bay West


DFO advises that, due to severe ice conditions, the opening of the 2017 Lobster season in that portion of Lobster Fishing Area 4A Notre Dame Bay West inside a line drawn from Burnt Head (49 31 275 N, 55 55 376 W) to Southern Head (49 36 N, 55 35 W) to North Head (49 32 650 N, 55 09 625 W) will be delayed and will now open at 0600 hours on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

DFO reminds fish harvesters of that traps are not to be retrieved until after the two-day setting period.

Licence fees and licence conditions are available through the national online licencing system.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2017-107 has been revoked and Variation Order 2017-114 comes into effect on June 16, 2017.
