Salmon retention levels change for Flat Bay Brook and a portion of Harry's River
DFO advises that in accordance with the Salmon Watershed Management Plan for Bay St. George Rivers and following an in-season review, changes will be implemented to retention levels for Flat Bay Brook and the main stem of the Harry's River.
Retention levels for the main stem of Harry's River, from Home Pool downstream to the river mouth and Flat Bay Brook will change from two-fish retention to four-fish retention as of one hour before sunrise, Thursday, July 14, 2016.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2016-087 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-107 comes into effect on July 14, 2016.
