NOTICE TO FISH HARVESTERS
3NO Fixed Gear Atlantic halibut, Monkfish, Skate and White Hake Fisheries Opening
DFO advises that the Inshore fishery in NAFO Divisions 3NO for Atlantic halibut, Monkfish, Skate and White hake for vessels using longline will open on June 10, 2016 at 0600hrs. This applies to vessel classes A251, A254, A257, A260, A263, A266, A269, and A272. Licence conditions can be obtained at the Eastern, Central and Labrador Client Services Centre, St. John’s. Fish harvesters are reminded that all licence holders are required to provide a Daily Report of your fishing activity.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Atlantic Halibut Variation Order 2016-036 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-064 comes into effect on June 8, 2016 and Hake Variation Order 2015-115 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-065 comes into effect on June 8, 2016.
